Sleep Technologist

Job description:

Andros Audiology and Andros ENT & Sleep Center is looking to hire a full time registered sleep technologist to our team. This is a evening shift position Monday through Friday( max of 3-12 hour shifts). We pride ourselves on our family friendly atmosphere and personal level of care.

Responsibilities

Polysomnographic testing and scoring.

o Applies electrodes, monitors accordingly, ensures artifact free recordings and documents values for any clinical event during testing.

o Implements and titrates appropriate therapy per lab protocol.

o Scores Polysomnograms, downloads/stores data and generates reports prior to follow up appointment.

· Patient education and record management

o Educate patient on sleep disorders, testing procedures and operation of sleep disorder devices.

o Verify medical order/protocol, complete all technical paperwork.

o Complete appropriate paperwork and billing procedures.

o Other duties as assigned.

Education

Successful completion of polysomnography program with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility (preferred) OR meets BRPT standards for a sleep technologist (preferred) OR equivalent experience with documented proficiency in all required competencies of a Polysomnographic Technologist'

Medical Assistant/ Medical Scribe

 

Are you interested in working in a dynamic environment with a team approach to patient-focused care? If you are, Andros ENT & Sleep Center in Inver Grove Heights is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/ Medical Scribe to join our team.

Medical Assistants/Medical Scribe are responsible for assisting our clinicians to provide high quality, comprehensive primary care to individuals and families in our surrounding communities. Some of the duties performed by our Medical Assistants include medical scribe, patient flow, taking vitals, and assisting with procedures.

We are seeking an individual with good interpersonal and communication skills, who understands the importance of providing quality customer service, and has the willingness to be flexible with duties in order to meet the needs of the patients and clinic. Ideal candidates would be medical assistants and/or college graduate applying to Medical school or PA school in gap year.

A candidate from a recognized Medical Assistant program, with experience in a electronic health records, Pre medical student or dental students are preferred. The ideal candidate must have strong computer skills; knowledge of medical terminology; an understanding of clinical situations and appropriate medical assistant interventions; knowledge of general office equipment and general medical equipment used in diagnostic and treatment of patients in outpatient primary care settings.

Clinical Audiologist

 

Andros Audiology and Andros ENT & Sleep Center is looking to hire a full time Doctor of Audiology to our team of audiologist and hearing instrument dispenser. Our motto is “hear to enhance life”.

We pride ourselves on our family friendly atmosphere and personal level of care. We see patients of all ages. Our Audiologists work in conjunction with our physicians and physician assistant as well as our Hearing Instrument Dispenser and are responsible for diagnostic testing, treatment of hearing loss through amplification, BPPV evaluation, and any other audiological discussions as required.

Essential functions of the job include:

  • Performs comprehensive diagnostics included tympanometry, reflex testing, and OAEs for all ages
  • Dix/Hallpike testing and canalith repositioning maneuvers
  • Fit and maintain hearing aid patient base, all brands available
  • Marketing of audiology department
  • Maintaining all patient files, documentation
  • Creating the best journey for the patient through counseling and instruction
  • Plan for future direction of audiology department
  • Hold in-office training for staff and/or potential patients

Education & Experience: Masters or Doctorate in Audiology, Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not necessary.
